Aalapan is an accredited non-profit organization established on Jan 4th, 2024 in Fort Mill, South Carolina, USA. Formed exclusively for charitable, religious and educational purposes. 
It is an association of currently 100+ adult members from India who have come together in south Charlotte dedicated to celebrating, promoting and preserving the diverse traditions, arts and heritage of India.

The primary intent of Aalapan is to organize a myriad of charitable events, educational workshops, cultural performances and gatherings that will captivate the senses and deepen the appreciation for Indian traditions. From the joyous festivities of Durga Puja to the melodious rhythms of Rabindranath Tagore, from the sumptuous flavors of Indian cuisine to the intricate craftsmanship of traditional arts, Aalapan strives to showcase the essence of true Indian culture in all its glory. With a passion for our deep roots and desire to develop the community around us, Aalapan aspires to raise awareness and usher the next generation of our kids to a wholesome cultural growth.
